Stephanie has been teaching for over 15 years. She teaches and/or has taught acting, movement,
Shakespeare, language skills, Body Unlocking, circus techniques,
and on-camera commercials. Steph is also a Vipassana facilitator
and teaches mindfulness meditation and it's practical application in our lives. (See: meditation

In Los Angeles, Stephanie presently teaches
Directing II in the Film Dept at the Art Center College in Pasadena (a class which focuses on teaching
student directors how to cast, rehearse, and create effective work with actors
- also introducing the camera and quick 'guerilla-type' shooting - and editing - of original work.)
She has taught acting & movement (physicality of acting) at USC,
and also taught acting & comedy at the American Academy of Dramatic Art.

Stephanie graduated from the Yale School of Drama (MFA) and also studied in England
(with Toby Richardson, Maria Atkin, Simon Callow, Judy Dench, Derek Jacobi, Dame Edith Evans.)
She worked with Tina Packer, founder of Shakespeare & Company in Lennox, Mass.
Stephanie has a degree in Psychology & Drama from Duke University.

Stephanie trained in the Linklater Voice Technique at Yale, NYU, and Shakespeare & Company,
and also worked with personally with Kristin Linklater (totalling over 5 years of training experience
- although she is not a designated Linklater teacher and she can recommend some good ones.)

In New York she studied acting with Wynn Handman, Larry Moss, and Paul Austin
and taught privately (acting technique, Shakespeare, & on-camera commercial classes.)

As an actress, Stephanie has guest-starred on many popular TV shows (Weeds, Ghost Whisperer,
The Closer, NYPD Blue, etc.) and has performed on stage at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center,
Utah Shakespeare Festival & Off-Broadway, and in many one-person shows (NYC & LA),
in addition to several leading roles at the Odyssey Theatre (LA).
