Also in New York, Stephanie explored Body/Mind Centering™ work with Tal Halevi, Patricia Bardi and others.
Body/Mind Centering™ is an integrated approach to transformative experience through movement re-education
(utilizing movement, touch, voice & mind) and was developed by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen.

BMC Work, along with the work with Tina Packer & Kristin Linklater, and vipassana meditation techniques
(taught by Shinzen Young) -- were integral in the development of Body Unlocking™
which Stephanie has been teaching for several years.
(And yeah, there were years of movement classes & health classes of various kinds that are influences as well.)
Body Unlocking is the process of freeing the flow of energy in the body/mind for physical,
psychological, emotional & spiritual health. (See: Body Unlocking™)

Stephanie has been featured in over 50 national & regional commercials and her on-camera commercial classes
are fun and insightful. Many of her students have become successful commercial actors. She has taught on-camera
commercial classes at the Theatre of Arts Academy, Women In Theatre workshops, Now Casting, & other LA wkshps.

Stephanie is also called upon as a Language Skills & Shakespeare Coach for various productions
(ex: Faust, The Dresser – both at the Odyssey theatre.) Her coaching is invaluable when actors
with little or no training need to speak heightened and/or classical text.
Her work helps them to be less intimidated by and more viscerally connected to the language and character,
learning to use the language as a spring board to the dramatic experience.

And, last but not least, Stephanie also worked closely with circus master, Hovey Burgess,
and can teach various circus techniques including juggling (balls, clubs, passing), trapeze, plate spinning,
rope spinning/lasso. (She was also in the Broadway/National Tour company of Barnum.)
