STEPHANIE NASH has a psychology degree from Duke University, and a Masters from Yale. Stephanie is a facilitator with the Vipassana Support Institute, and has led many of the one-day meditation retreats VSI offers at the Santa Monica Zen Center each month (on the 4th Saturday) in addition to teaching meditation workshops (Intro to Meditation, Food Issues, Meditation for Actors, Women Retreats) and ongoing classes & private sessions. She has trained with Shinzen Young for years, and wrote the study guide that accompanies his "Talks on Teaching" tapes series. She (and her classes) are often mentioned on KPFK by Roy Tuckman on Thursday nights. Stephanie is known for teaching mindfulness techniques with an insightful, engaging approach.
