“Many actors come through my film directing class where the emphasis is, of course,
on the director's process not the actor's (although I go to great lengths
to sensitize directors to support the acting process.)"
"I am told by actors who participate that it is a meaningful and good learning experience
for them, and am often asked about my acting classes which are usually full."
"Thus I wanted here to create another time in which I could work with actors
on their instruments & process - and on how to handle any situation creatively
(and, in essence, to be 'director-proof')."
"I look forward to sharing with actors the methodologies
I learned at the Yale School of Drama (and in NYC & England)
as well as many handy techniques & exercises that I’ve developed in my 20 years of teaching
(and in my many years as a professional actress)
to help broaden your perspective, experience, and abilities as an actor.”
“I will specifically address what’s required for acting in FILM & TV, as well as provide you
with tools & understanding to make you more confident & free in your work."
